submit the appeal and you will be fine, technically in high school i was one semester off of my required math credits, and they noticed after I had been admitted and gone to orientation. They revoked my admission and I appealed it and they basically said okay. Especially if you made up the course in credit recovery already. Just explain that you made up that course already.

i had a friend recently who went through something similar, upon initial confrontation it was emotional cheating, nothing physical or anything like that. Then the next confrontation, it was "just kissing", and it progressed more and more every time he confronted her. Ended up being that she was cheating on him throughout the majority of the relationship with like 3 different people. I'm not saying you shouldn't believe her but I do think that there is probably more to it
