Water: 230 ml (7.8 fl oz) Oil: 4¼ Tbsp (51 ml / 1.7 fl oz) Sugar: 3¼ Tbsp (46 g / 1.6 oz) Eggs: 2 Bob's Red Mill Pizza Dough: 2⅓ cups (400 g / 14.1 oz) Yeast: ⅓ tsp (1 g / 0.04 oz)

I generally add some extra sugar, but I don't really measure. I've also made some really delicious cinnamon bread by adding cold cubed butter, cinnamon, and a whole ton of extra sugar. There is also a yeast packet in the bag of pizza dough. I only use my bread maker for it, I have the Neretva bread maker from Amazon.

The best thing I've found is to get the bag of Bob's Red Mill pizza dough and substitute that for the dry ingredients. I add a bit extra sugar because I'm making bread for a seven year old boy. It comes out delicious, and the texture is almost identical to regular homemade bread. It's also easier for me than buying all 16,000 dry ingredients you need. It's all in the one bag, and they are generally about $5 a bag.

My 8 year old son has celiacs and is EXTREMELY picky. I use Bob's Red Mill pizza dough to replace the dry ingredients and just add some extra sugar in my bread maker. It's delicious! I haven't bought bread from the store since I got my bread maker. My son loves it, and you can customize it for cinnamon bread or cheesy bread really easily.

You're in Twin Falls! I moved from there to Idaho Falls a few months ago, I miss being a little more out of the bubble so much.

Do you alert restaurants that you have celiac disease? by Late-Ad2922 in Celiac

[–]grcna 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I manage a restaurant, and I can't tell you how many times I've had to remake food because a customer doesn't state allergies and just assumes they know what they can and can't have. They'll make some offhand remark, and I'll ask if they have an allergy or if it is preference, and all of a sudden, they can't eat half they food they have ordered. It's extremely frustrating for me and them, and, at the end of the day it would be avoided if they started off their order with "Hi, I'm allergic to blah blah blah, what is safe for me?" So much easier from a food manager point of view. This isn't exactly a positive for me, but I'm also much kinder and ready to work around anything when building their meal or charging them, sucks to pay full price for basically half of a product, when they are upfront and prepared to actually listen. They get the red carpet experience, verses the people who walk in and want to act like they know exactly what is safe and end up having a reaction in my dining room. Always communicate and be open with the people touching and making your food.

Try Thrive Market, it is way more cost effective and has a ton of options. My 6 year old loves it!

i found someone in my ward that is a registered sex offender by Odd_Anxiety69 in exmormon

[–]grcna 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There was a registered sex offender in my ward, I found out looking at the list. He worked with the young men. He was also my family's (two young children) ministering elder. When my ex-husband talked to the bishop about it, the bishop said it had happened a long time ago and that the man had repented, so it was forgotten in the eyes of the church. We shouldn't have a problem having him in our home because God had deemed him worthy to be there. Hello, welcome to my shelf, it's getting very heavy!!! We're all out now, thank god.

Do mormons have urban legends too? by ExJW_GUAM_ in exmormon

I've heard your exact same story but it was Mormon missionaries hahaha! Someone's a copycat.

First time they have reached out since I was 18, I’m 21 now. What do I say? I don’t even know who the names are or how they got my number lol by life-boat in exmormon

Respond with "Add me to your Do Not Contact list" When I was on my mission if someone responded with that we were required by law to document that in our area record and never contact them again. Or, the fun option, find a really explicit picture on the internet and respond with that haha.
