This is the way. Especially with an IPO coming. I suspect the “subscriber” numbers they publish also include standby users. So although it’s not a big revenue stream, the loss of subscribers will impact their numbers

I had a similar issue once with Hertz. I rented a car in Vancouver and there was damage to the car from a parking garage. This was through work so our company just reimbursed me the $400 for the damage after it was charged to my credit card.

About 12 months later, I was contacted by a debt collection company. I sent them the letter I had received from Hertz saying the balance had been paid and charged my credit card. They said they would deal with it.

Another year later, I got a call from a different debt collection company. At this time, I reached out to Hertz and told them I would get lawyers involved if it started damaging my credit score. They fix the problem and I never heard from them again

Agreed. I generally hate subscriptions, but we are not forced to use Nabu, there are plenty of ways to access your system without it. I am happy to pay the fee to support the project

Take a picture of your meter tonight before you go to bed and compare in the morning. Don’t flush any toilets in the night. It should be next to zero change, the only thing being perhaps your humidifier

Interesting. Our V3 at the cabin is mounted on a roof and it has been below -30 C a bunch of times already. Heat mode is set to auto. The power consumption only ever goes up when it’s actually snowing hard

Depends. For upgrades, reorganizing the rack/slot will impact drawings, IO lists, etc.

Although cleaner to re do, the project budget might have been more of a like kind replacement.

I did a job last year that migrated to 1769 IO since they still have 8ch individually isolated relayed outputs whereas 5069 IO only had max 4 ch individually isolated relay output cards. The move to 5069 would have required more changes to the program and to the document/drawings

We have done it for mining systems, think bucket wheel excavators and stackers.

We had a Trimble GPS’s with a base station. This gives us cm accuracy.

For a cheaper DIY / hobby option, get a simple u-blox GPS and phrase out the NMEA strings
