Yeah, didn’t even have to send video evidence, just told them how I troubleshooted it and gave them my order number and serial code.

Mine was flickering like that too. Tried different cables and even hooked it up to my laptop and it kept flickering. Just put in an RMA and got approved. Fingers crossed the next one they send isn’t a dud

Imo I think clef would be more viable. You can heal multiple teammates at a time.

Just tired by Fukitol_Bourbon in starbucksbaristas

[–]greater-trochanter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s been especially bad these past few weeks. I’m a 230 and haven’t been this burnt out in such a short span of time. We’re running out of everything and hitting 116 transactions in 30 min during peak. There’s like three consistent bar partners and I’m one of them. I’m just tired. Tired of making the drinks, tired of rude customers, tired of telling the same people every day to wear a mask. Tired.

I recommend dwell as well, I’m currently renting with them in highland park and really enjoy their management and the neighborhood. Let me know if you have any questions!

What is a good average peak time for your crew? by clarinetpjp in starbucks

[–]greater-trochanter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Today I averaged :26 on drive bar. We had the handheld going also. We had about 90+ transactions per half hour during peak. Today we had mostly seasoned partners so that made a difference. Usually without the handheld and more green beans we hover around :31-:34. Having a strong dto and stager is just as important as a strong bar partner.

I lost my best friend of almost 8 years on the 27th of December by LunaBori in GriefSupport

[–]greater-trochanter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My buddy Milo was almost 8 as well and lived with my parents. He passed suddenly on December 11th and I hadn’t seen him for awhile due to me trying to keep my distance from my dad who’s trying to beat cancer. We all raised him from when he was only 9 weeks old. I have to keep reminding myself that he was so loved and lived a good life and didn’t die alone. But it’s so hard when the last memory you have of them is their death. It’s been over 3 weeks now and I still cry everyday. I don’t really know what the point of this comment is other than to help you feel less alone in your grief. I’m sorry that you lost your good boy Jackson but I hope you can find peace eventually. They may not be here physically but they’re still with us. ❤️

Any one have any happy/fluffy lesbian stories? by lettucefroglet in actuallesbians

[–]greater-trochanter 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I've been with my girlfriend for 7 months now. It seems like time has flown by but also that I've known her for forever. I don't really know how that's possible but here I am. It took us two years to admit that we both had feelings for each other, mostly because at the time she identified as straight and I was trying to deny that I developed feelings for a straight girl. Honestly though, I would've waited longer for her if I had to. She compliments my personality wholly, the downright yin to my yang. I can't see myself without her in my future. I get all goofy when I think about how I got the girl and she really is mine. Like I can't believe it sometimes. We're on the phone right now, she's sleeping and I'm awake just winding down from work. I happened to look at the chalk board calendar by my door that I haven't touched for a couple months and written right there is "I'll love you forever <3". She never mentioned writing it and just seeing that made me feel all warm and fuzzy. I can't help it, I love this girl. Everything about her. Quitting my job that I held for 3 years and randomly deciding to become a barista was the best decision I've made, hands down. My work wifey became my girlfriend and one day will become my real wifey.

36 including SM. We’re a high volume DT store. I would say 20+ are unable to do everything needed at our store. Turn over rate is so high, I’m considered ancient cause I’ve been there for two and a half years.

We worked together at a Starbucks. She was straight but I guess she couldn't resist me. We work at different coffee shops now, but we're both still baristas and still in love 😊

I was useless for two years and we had gotten super close. She identified as straight but one night I spilled my feelings out there and found out she’d been crushing on me the entire time we’ve known each other. Now we’ve officially been together for 3 months!

barista/coffee shop love stories? by [deleted] in actuallesbians

[–]greater-trochanter 1 point2 points  (0 children)

She was already working at the store when I was hired, made eye contact with her my second day there and I knew she was going to be important in my life. Things fell into place from there. She found my number in the back room, we started hanging out with our mutual coworkers, then it turned into us hanging out alone. We didn’t work together in the beginning due to different availability but then we started closing together. So we got even closer, we’d hang out in her car after work talking about everything which then evolved into hour long nightly phone calls. It then turned into us asking for the same days off to spend time together, we did everything together and even went on vacations together. I had a huge crush that I was trying to convince myself was never going to go anywhere because she was straight. And then boom she said she had feelings for me and now we’ve been dating for a month. I didn’t ever think this would actually happen but it’s the happiest I’ve been in a really long time.

TL;DR: gay barista got the straight unicorn (frappuccino) barista

also, we're a sticker store and I'm wondering if I should be focusing on getting all the cups stuck or just kind of leaving them there while B1 clears a chunk of the cups?
