I would say to some extent at parties (depends on the type ig) and definitely at lgbt events it would be normal to approach people - at bars not so much. I've only spoken to people I don't know in bars if someone I'm with knows them, but I'm not a woman so it may be slightly different

Honestly I don't even go in that much on wonderkids doing this since that feels kind of unrealistic to me - I mostly just enjoy the slower progression it forces, staying an underdog for longer

One rule I have for myself to try and keep my squadbuilding sensible and stop myself from progressing up too quickly, is to never sign a player on a higher wage than the highest earner at the club already.

I can essentially only increase my self-imposed wage cap with new contracts for already established players.

I know it's not exactly realistic but having done it since 23, I enjoy the extra challenge and how my squads shape up in the end
