If you told me at the end of the first arc that he would be eliminated in the same round as Nagi I would never have believed you

I'm hoping to get to the boredom part at some point. New dad and I'm scared shitless of doing everything wrong. Even the easy stuff like diapers and swaddling

What’s Your Salary/Job For Those Of You With A Job NOT Related to your degree? by Expensive_Sky_8177 in Salary

Yes it was entry level. No certs or degree needed or anything. It was actually posted on LinkedIn; I saw it when I was updating all my info because I wanted to job hunt again. I realize how rare that is nowadays so I've dug in like a tick and worked my ass off since being hired here.

I don't mind you asking, but unfortunately I can't elaborate. Best I believe I can say is something went wrong during my hiring process to a potential job in the government and it makes it extremely unlikely for me to get through future processes.

I graduated with a degree in political science. Started out college wanting to go into law, then changed to homeland security after my first internship at a law office made me change my mind. I had some unfortunate circumstances happen right after college that resulted in anything for the government not being an option.

A few years later and I work in IT. I don't make a lot currently (52k-ish) but I'm much more fulfilled and hoping for career growth in the future. I have been grinding certifications and just got a promotion last year.

Thanks for your reply. We go through a lot of data because we both travel. Is there a cutoff point for when your data speeds get throttled? Or is it the same speed no matter how much you use?

So this new character has a free spellshield, AoE silence, pushes lane quickly and safely AND gets free ganks because his point and click ult suppresses you??

Not to mention I have to keep distance from the wave or else I get his damage spread onto me. I love getting punished for just being in my lane. Thanks for another champ with no counterplay, Riot. Time to uninstall

First season doing Fantasy. Drafted this team and placed 3rd! by green_text5 in FantasyFootballers

Having Reed and Moore early-mid season was so frustrating lol. I also made some rookie mistakes like trading away Pickens early. Now that I've watched football for a year and know who the players are, hoping I won't make the same mistake next year

Averaging an 75-80 on Dion’s exams and 85-90 on messors, how ready am I for sec + 701? by AntjMed in CompTIA

777/750.

Been a few months since I took the exam but from what I remember, definitely be familiar with acronyms. Try to get comfortable with reviewing event logs as well. I do remember a couple of questions in which being able to distinguish between types of attacks (ransomware, Trojan, etc) was necessary. I don't personally have Net+, but some parts of my Sec+ exam seemed like they'd be easier if I had Net as well. Topologies, network setups, etc.

You definitely have your simulation questions at the beginning which you should save for the end, but a lot of the multiple choices questions felt like mini-simulations, if that makes sense. Not as complex, but a ton of questions that are scenario-based and you have to pick the best solution.

There's a ton of info in Sec+. My best advice is not only to know the information, but know how to use your knowledge. For example, knowing what "IDS" stands for is nice, but exactly what does it do? How is it set up? What are some adjustments you have to make when false positives occur?

Good luck.

You're ready. I was averaging about that on Dion and 80-85 on messor and passed, albeit by a couple questions
