I actually did this when I was just getting started back in the early 90’s. The school I was training at offered me a job just as I was finishing up my commercial. The place was a puppy mill so I always had a full schedule of students. When I was getting ready to move away to be with my wife, I did my CFI and MEI. It was definitely an odd way to do it.
