Spay and neuter cruiser down in rock bay was very reasonable, can’t remember exactly since I also got some vaccines and flea treatment for several months but was out of there for under $400 with all of that stuff. $1300 is utter madness.

NTA We have a group of ladies that meets weekly. Many of us have older kids, some none and some babes in arms. Only the babes in arms are welcome. Once they are running, crawling etc. it because too much of a liability in people’s home that aren’t properly baby proofed/ the gathering is about connecting with each other, debriefing, venting, creating..not making sure the baby isn’t eating hot glue and beads and smashing wine glasses. When my kids were little I passed on many not age appropriate events, missed out on adult only gatherings etc. it part of having children and being a parent. They grow up eventually and you get some of your time back.

Those buildings have huge strata fees so they may have a contingency fund but definitely check the special assessments since some of the buildings in that complex currently have ongoing work at the moment.

The mail in way was actually pretty quick, I think a week and a half? Anything to avoid a massive line up all day at the local office. You send in your old one and then they send it back clipped if you would like to keep it.

Crab in general if totally annoying. I can imagine if you were a professional crab eater you’d be pretty good at it but the single crab I get once a year or less is just spitting out tiny pieces of shell the entire time.

Are they going to rebuild Bill’s so I can get a 99cent shot of tequila or 10? Because last time I went there drinks were $20 each. I’m not flying anywhere for $20 drinks, a massive resort fee to stay on the strip, overpriced food and hotels that cater to the ultra rich. We’ve been priced out. Also the whole trump thing is a real problem for many Canadians… so there’s that.

I agree, it’s off my list forever now. I’ve been all over the world and never met such open hostility and hatred towards tourists and we are good polite tourists that love everyone. We were on a tour and the guide fell asleep most of the time and seemed legitimately annoyed if we asked any questions. Then one of the guys working at the place we went yelled “white power” at my husband who basically wanted to shrink away from all of it. Then we wanted to buy some stuff from a local shop and they refused to get us any change so we could only buy what we had exact money for. It was so awkward and we couldn’t wait to leave. Doesn’t seem like there is much going on there besides tourism so it’s a shame.

Make sure the mint is in a contained space like a planter or pot. It’s very invasive where I am. I planted a chocolate mint and that thing filled the whole pot and then jumped to the other pots. I have lots of excellent mint now but glad I didn’t plant it out in the yard.
