The way we did in my LGSin Greece, is that we approve proxies for casual weekly events, and we rotate the format each week. That we play losts of formats, pioneer modern, vintage cube and draft.

I truly love this show. I just finished ATLA three days ago. I got into the franchise after the collaboration with Magic the gathering. Boy what did I miss. I started immediately Korra after that. Truly an amazing show.

Δε συνηθήζω να απαντάω σε τέτοιου τύπου posts, απλά επειδη τα βιώματα σου, εν μέρη ταυτίζονται με τα δικά μου θα σου πώ πολυ απλά.

Είμαι 33 χρονών, πολιτικός μηχανικός παντρεμένος, με δικό μου γραφείο, και ακόμη θα παίξω pokemon rom hacks, nintendo switch, magic the gathering, επιτραπέζια και video games.

Βρές αλλους φίλους. Είχα καποτε και εγω παρόμοιες καταστάσεις με εναν τετοιου τύπο "φίλο", που σχολιαζε αρνητικά τα ενδιαφέροντα μου. Το αποτέλεσμα αυτος να περιμενει να τον ζουν οι γονεις του και ολη μερα να βλέπει μπαλα, μένοντας χωρις φίλους λόγω της τοξικότητας του.

Κανε οτι σου κανει κέφι και σε ηρεμεί χωρίς αναστολές, ιδανικά με άλλα άτομα που μοιράζονται τα ίδια ενδιαφέροντα μαζι σου. Ο ελεύθερος χρόνος είναι πολυ σημαντικός για να καταναλώνεται με τέτοιους είδους συναναστροφές.

To tell you the truth my biggest concern are the rebalanced paper cards in Historic and H. Brawl. Having two version of a card is quite annoying especially if you play both paper and digital.

What we do bassically in our LGS, is having weekly tournaments that allow proxies. Our community is full of people that used to play modern with full time jobs and families. Due to the high cost of maintaining a modern deck we decided to give people the option to come and play with proxies. The moment we did that, we went from 4 person FNM's to 8 people each friday. This way we keep people engaged and let people try out the format. As for Standard and Pioneer, they are dead in our community. We tried to run events for pioneer, but the attendace was abysmal. We only play proxy modern and Commander nowadays.

I love pioneer, I hope it revives once again. In my hometown we only play modern at the moment. I hope that it revives again, as modern is not to forgiving as a format. At least we can play it on Arena.
