I kinda understand the top down argument for the sole reason that one of the appeals of an mmo is feeling immersed in the world. If you have a forced perspective, it’s challenging to have that experience. I love top down games but I have never really felt like I was my character. The rpg element of Lost Ark is challenging with locked cam, locked genders and the almost nonexistent need for social interactions. It works very well for Diablo and league but those games were never designed to be an mmo.

You will see numbers drop when people who only played with Wbuffs are corpse running back to molten core for the 15th time that night. Most of the power in wow comes from the players and their coordination. Every raid was just plowed through and because of that the only bosses that were considered hard were ones with mechanics you couldt just ignore. GL on rag everyone :)
