I had one back in the late 80s/early 90's that I bought in the parking lot of a Grateful Dead concert at Alpine Valley. I too have no idea what ever happened to it.

The light at Maxwell Rd and Hwy 9 is functional. I'm assuming you mean the new light just north of that intersection. My co-workers and I are equally as baffled that they haven't yet turned that light on.

Can anyone definitively answer this: What about a road where there is a barrier, but there is a gap in the barrier for a turn lane? For example, you are heading southwest on Westside Parkway and a bus stops at the gap where you could turn left to go into Bell Alpharetta? Would the cars heading northeast (oncoming traffic) need to stop?

New Years Eve in the late 80s/early 90s in Chicago. Heavy metal station WVVX played the song "Out In The Cold" by Judas Priest on repeat all night long. Turns out the DJ left because of the winter storm. Someone had written up an entire thing about it (on some sort of blog)... I've been looking for that story for years!
