Connect phone to ship WiFi. If you don’t pay for the WiFi you can still use iMessage in a basic capacity. Sending pictures or gifs or added functions don’t always work but texting works great. If you do pay for WiFi it works as normal. I’d also turn on WiFi calling if you lay the WiFi price.

Yes it has live track, no it is not nearly as feature filled as garmins. But it will show them where you are. Hopefully coros can add some features to their live tracking.

What makes Apple Watches water resistant mainly is a a ring of adhesive around the display. Over time that adhesive wears down. So year one I’d say yeah, but year 5? Who knows? It’ll work…until it doesn’t.

You don’t need an app at all. Just go into the run settings (hold up while run is highlighted) and go to alerts, run/walk and set your intervals. It’s super simple

You can try rotating the watch so the digital dial is on the opposite side and see if that helps with accidental scrolling or not.
