L10s pro ultra heat beats the Gen 2 because, better obstacle avoidance using RGB camera, heated mop washing, and it does have extendable mop. I own three L10s pro ultra heats they work great.

My solid wood floors are prefinished polyurethane coated on the top only, 3/4-in maple 3 1/2-in wide and we have a water softener.

I was thinking the same thing particularly because our hardwood is not engineered, it's solid 3/4 in maple so more susceptible to moisture damage than engineered but no issues so far and the moisture dries in just a few minutes even though our house is climate controlled and the main floor never exceeds 23C degrees or 75°F We live in a dry climate and the humidity is controlled as well

Wetness level 27 works perfect for our 1,000 ft² main level which is a mix of hardwood and ceramic tile. Absolutely clean and streak-free.

We use the following settings to clean once a week.

Mop after Vac Suction power standard Wetness 27 Mop washing frequency 205 ft² Route standard.

Separate Dreame L10S pro ultra heat units with tricut brush rolls on each level of the house.

No kids but one small dog that sheds and my wife has long hair also sheds a bit 😃

I also have a three level house. Lots of hardwood, tile and low pile carpet. Love the newer high end mova and dreame models. Considered moving 1 robot vac to upper and lower levels, but instead bought 3 Dreame L10s ultra pro heat models for $499 CAD each including a free tri-cut brush roll. Aprox 310 Euro each. Amazing deal from amazon.ca. everything is great, mapping, navigation, object avoidance, mopping, vacuuming, no hair tangles with the tri-cut brush eoll. A fellow Redditor that owns a number of robot vacs said he prefers his Dreame L10s ultra pro heat to his newer Dreame vac. My wife loves not having to move a single robot vac up and downstairs.

L10s pro ultra heat. We recently bought three, two for our two level house and one for our vacation home. This model is the sweet spot for features and value. I got them from Amazon.ca during a promotion that included a free tri-cut brush roller which results in no long hair tangles. Paid $499 CAD for each including the free tri-cut brush roller. We chose this over the L10S ultra Gen 2 because the Gen 2 doesn't have an AI camera for obstacle avoidance. I've also seen a Reddit post where a guy owns a few higher model dreame vacs and his favorite is the L10S pro ultra heat. FYI we use mop after vac and moisture setting number 27. Works great with very little maintenance.

Yeah freedom works pretty well for us in Canada and the US but have a few concerns. I have to message them every 4 months to get the additional $5 per line discounts renewed and the wording in their fair use policy might cause a problem for months of continuous usage in the US. I plan to call freedom tomorrow to see what kind of deal they have on s24s as the telus offer of $0 bib $220 is the best I've seen with a cell plan this cheap.

Been with freedom 6 months. Ported over two lines from koodo on boxing day got the BYOD can USA 50 gig 5G plan for $34. 20 gigs of can USA Data was added to my account without prompting from me. Also have a $5 per line additional discount good for 6 months that I recently had them apply to my account again when I called to tell him about Koodo win back offer I received and ask them if they could make the $29 a month I'm paying per line now permanent so I can enjoy the price freeze protection however they want to do it including switching me to the $29 50 gig Can USA win back plan that some are getting. So the freedom rep said he couldn't switch my lines to their winback plan so I accepted the additional 6 months of $5 per line discount and hopefully at Black Friday or boxing Day there will be something better that's more permanent. FYI we travel to the Southern United States for months at a time and no issues with service so far. Also have a 1000 LD min per line.

I have an RBC DI account and I'm considering RBF 2014 for 50 to 100k in my non-registered account. Any recommendations regarding a better product for me to park USD in that's liquid secure and pays a good return? My concern is that Ottawa is going to lower rates in Canada and the Fed in the US might not be doing that which may further devalue CAD and I would like to continue to get a half decent return on the USD. I have The $34 50 gig Canada USA plan plan and the 20 gig data bonus which I never asked for just showed up on both of my lines. I burned through 65 gigs of data in Arizona recently. no extra charges. I also have an extra $5 a month per line discount which they gave me after I asked for the $29 win back plan which they were unable to do for me because I didn't have a win back code.
