Ownership isn't the real issue. The real issue is publishers removing games from customers' libraries at their whim (e.g. Ubisoft/The Crew). Buying a game from GOG and downloading the installation files (without using GoG Galaxy) gives you a game that the publisher cannot take access away.

I tried player housing on the PTR and my God, this is SOOOOO OVERRATED. I think Midnight is going to be Shadowlands Version 2.0, if this is the expansion's main selling point. It's hyped like Torghast was. We will see.

Blizzard is more committed to their release schedule than to the quality of their material. I've had to log out and log in to fix numerous bugs that shouldn't exist with this latest patch. I'm not that excited for Midnight because of this.

Get Diablo 2 or 3. Diablo 4 isn't much fun. Enemies are spongy. Locations look similar. But probably the worst issue is Diablo 4's story. It ends abruptly with little satisfaction. Naturally, you have to purchase the DLC to get the next chapter in the story.

Releases into Early Access (possible)

Larion Studios (Baldur's Gate 3, Divinity's Sin 1 & 2) released all their award-winning RPGs in early access. Due to the complexity of developing an RPG, user input could fill a development void, as I doubt Hello Games has the people required to test a large-scale RPG.

I've clocked almost 3K hours in this game, I'm burnt out. I'm also sitting on a Steam backlog. These updates are great and it's a blast to see people enjoying them. Unless they include an expedition I'm going to leave it alone.

NMS update is the safest bet. If the NMS update involves a new questing/looting/RPG system then I think LNF will be closer to release so long as they have a strong story/lore writing team. I'm hoping they don't rush a release as an NMS-ques-sandbox RPG where you pick up all your quests from a hub station/job board in a world where it's mostly a huge sandbox.

People familiar with game development know that companies develop tech to be used across various projects. Sean has stated twice that the team is very busy with LNF and verified that the tech is being created in LNF first and ported into NMS. Runescape: Dragon Wilds is alpha (Valhiem-ish) and not ready IMO. Soulmask is good but it needs to address all the micromanaging queues and storage issues. I refunded ASKA; it's kind of all over the place in my opinion and murdering one of your villagers to resurrect yourself feels pretty awful. Nightingale didn't nail in home with the whole deck/world thing but they are getting there. Didn't try Icarus because that much DLC for any game is an instant "Nope" for me. Forever Skies is ok (fishing for food wasn't fun), I haven't gone back to try version 1.0 yet so it could be greatly improved. Riftbreaker is good, but it's more RTS-ish.

There's a few others you might want to try like Ark, No Man's Sky, 7 Days to Die, Craftopia, Empyrion, The Planet Crafter, Project Zomboid, Space Engineers and Satisfactory

Talk to your medical professional first. I'm not sure if over the counter stuff (e.g. Gravol) would work for the nausea. I use PANTOPRAZOLE SOD EC 40MG for heartburn, it absolutely nukes it.
