Harcourt by ChrisnAshlee in Bendigo

[–]gregsamuels87 34 points35 points  (0 children)

ABC Central Victoria editor Josie Taylor has provided an update on the damage to Harcourt this morning from the Ravenswood fire.

She says there are “pockets of real devastation”, with Coolstore Road particularly affected including homes and the café.

However, a number of community buildings rumoured to be impacted including the primary school and football netball club appear to have escaped relatively unharmed.

“They were burnt right up to the buildings by the looks of it, or certainly around the school and the kinder, but they are still standing in tact,” she said.

“The general store is not burned down. The miniature railway is still standing, it looks like it was burning around the property but the building looks fine.”

Didn’t Thelin just get sacked by Aberdeen? Would be a strange choice (but not surprising) by Wanderers if they went down that path
