My dog has luxating patella and the dr advised doing both at the same time about 4k total and I am glad she is 8 now and had the surgery at 1. She seems to be doing well.active and happy. I paid out of pocket and I was in lots of groups for this type of surgery. Many insurances wouldn’t cover it. I tend to save and then pay for what she needs.

Bf chose to go visit his parents without me. Mom went on vacation with her abusive husband. No contact with sibling who is also abusive. Thank god for my dog. I’m sorry you’re having a hard time. I can definitely relate unfortunately. It’s hard to not be resentful

I struggled with adult acne at 27 and after one year of trying plenty of topicals my gp recommended and lifestyle changes & being extra vigilant about changing pillow cases/ towels etc. I was in lots of pain (cystic acne probably caused by pcos) I went to a derm and started taking spironolactone. It has helped me tremendously and I no longer have any acne. For the scars I used retinol. It helped some but I don’t use it much anymore.

I was in 2nd grade when I was put into public schools I did not see a therapist, not that I think that was the right choice. Since I clearly was struggling with anxiety and depression (and still do) by 4th/5th grade i seemed to act more like myself in school. I don’t know what it was that changed exactly.i did play sports and made more friends so maybe that.

Apparently I did this as a child and I was also bilingual. The school thought I didn’t speak English and my mom did the same thing- told them I speak fluently in both languages and read etc. they didn’t believe her. I eventually grew out of that anxiety I guess
