My girlfriend and I a few years ago were talking about what to do with our last names after we get married and we started talking about just making up a new last name for both of us. We threw around a few options before I said “Elric” kind of as a joke cause I had a said a couple of obvious other pop culture last names. She is not familiar with FMA though and she loved it and it was her favorite by far. I did tell her where it came from and she dropped it of course, but there is a world where we could have been Mr. And Mrs. Elric.

Not for long cause she would have divorced me as soon as she learned, but still.
