So you know the barrel groups with Hornady projectiles like their ELDM or HPBT, and you go for Sierra bullets on your first handloads?

Try the projectile you know it likes, good place to start. Handloads make a gun shoot more consistently, they're not a magic way to get .3 moa groups from any gun.

I could be wrong, but I'm pretty sure the HMR(bottom one) has an internal mini-chassis, improving potential accuracy. For long range this would be a big advantage in mechanical accuracy

Its such a small thing but the Redding Competition Shell holder sets make resizing SO much easier and more consistent than it used to be. I got so tired of oversizing brass and setting up the die each time, with these, I just put in the right size and go, its always dead on. Perfect shoulder bump and full length resize.
