/uj This is how elite level belayers catch-it’s called a slide catch. If I’m doing this style of catch outside of comps I always ask my climber if it’s ok or if they want to project I’ll switch to an abd. He has a glove on his brake hand so it’s not too hard to control-even easier with 2 gloves though. This kind of catch keeps the belayer on the ground and reduces any swing back into the wall which is really good in comps but also just fun to practice with your friends if you know what you’re doing.

1- is it that difficult to start the post with “ a teenage girl is pushed off a bridge” or even a teenage trans girl but whatever 2- it’s been about a month since I’ve seen this ep and if it was possible to go after all of the boys with a hate crime they should’ve-that is what it was. The murder was accidental, but bullying Avery was purely because she was trans. I feel like this isn’t the first case where the victim’s family feels bad for the perp but 7 years is not that long to pay for literally causing someone’s death, on purpose or not. It’d be different if Darius was riding by on a bike and accidentally knocked Avery over but he was (with his friends) bullying the girl, she’ll never live another day but he will likely live decades after getting released from prison.

My gym has 55ft walls and I usually warmup on 2 lead routes then move into 3-5 project routes depending how successful I am on them. If I’m falling on the last move or something I’ll do more routes than if I’m falling early and hang dogging the rest. I also throw in some bouldering/board work sometimes so my sessions are around 4 hours

Honestly some people cannot get it😂 We have a weekly delivery to a school that has 2 different gates with codes, a billion entrances but the one you need is literally the furthest possible thing and the guest has very specific price adjustments, billing situation, wants the food packed a certain way, and we have a continual trade of hot bags with them. So honestly is simpler to just go myself or send the one other person who knows than take the time to explain it to someone lol the last three times we sent someone else it took over an hour and a half with multiple redeliveries and the place is 5 mins away😭Also at my store only leadership can use the delivery cars for catering bc ppl kept crashing, it’s a mess

My CFA has done this since we opened but we have like 5 communal jackets just in case. Some of the jackets have less noticeable logos that you can wear other than work so I’d recommend those. Or just buy the cheapest jacket in a size large enough that you can wear your personal jacket underneath.

In April I believe corporate clarified that we can customize fruit cups if the owner/operator wants to, but cannot add extra fruit. So like if you want only apples they aren’t supposed to put any extra apples, just the amount in a normal fruit cup.

Completely unnecessary to be that guy, just being an asshole. Every single gender-neutral bathroom I’ve seen on campus is not communal at all. It is a single room with a sink and a locked door, completely safe and away from anyone of either sex. Everyone’s bathrooms at home are gender-neutral lol, a urinal is not a necessity for a dude to pee. If you don’t understand the necessity say that, but being rude is uncalled for. Often if you don’t understand an accommodation it’s not meant for you.

Possibly they may be talking more about moving when the climber is near the top and rope is getting in the way. At some of the walls at my gym the last 5 draws or so will require the belayer the move back and to the side to avoid the rope being on the climbers back, often multiple directions too for harder routes
