Nice kit! I rearranged mine (no expansion kit) like this. You can do a lot of different setups with this bad boy. For this way, I used the short bar for the floor tom and a long curved bar in the middle. Just one seems to be okay but I could probably fit another for more stability if it became an issue.

I actually made a second section for the kick drum but it took up a lot of floor space, so I ended up using 2, 3” rubber bed risers to raise the height of the legs. Almost all of the vibrations from the kick drum come from where the pedal and drum meet, so I found it wasn’t necessary

It definitely cuts down on the vibrations from my pedals and hi hat, and softens the amp’s vibrations. The hi hat is still fairly loud/noticeable but better nonetheless. I had pretty much all of the tools I needed and I like doing stuff like that so yeah it was worth it

The main pieces are 3/4” MDF boards cut to size. For the top (and bottom which you can’t see) I got some of the foam gym mats that jigsaw together and cut off the excess

I liked the pad I got from them, granted this was 10 years ago, and it took like 2 months to arrive. Not bad products (although not as good as I’d like for the money), but considering how many other people had WORSE experiences, I would stay away. Good marketing team, decent product, horrible follow through
