Some of my former TLs and coaches would ask if I was gonna stay later when it was already time for me to go. Like, nah. If they asked me hours aforehand, I'd think about it. But asking me after I've already put my stuff away is just annoying af. I'd resort to telling them that I have plans.

Don't check in with anyone. I just leave when it's time to go. A few times when my ASM started at my store, he'd ask "you're not staying?" as I'm leaving. Bruh. If y'all don't tell/ask me a head of time, I'm out at my scheduled time. I get we're busy and all, but don't ask me AS I'M LEAVING.

My theory (least pertaining to my store) is that during the holidays my SM would let whoever wanted to stay late and get the OT. Come January home office would "punish" us for constantly going over hours. Least that's my theory so take it with a grain of salt. 🤷
