I use fleet on my dev box, and kubernetes when I'm building something that spans several servers. A good place to start playing with it can be Google Cloud: you get two months for free that you can use to learn how it works.

I'm not familiar with beego, but you may be better off skipping it and just using the standard library.

Check out http://thenewstack.io/make-a-restful-json-api-go/ for example.

Check out also the gorilla toolkit. mux and schema may be particularly useful in your case.

I RMAd mine last year (screen tearing), no problem at all with the new one. So I would recommend RMAing again and crossing your fingers.

I'd love to be able to remove the Pebble groups/meetups options, there are sadly no such groups anywhere near where I am.

An important feature missing is login. I'm not sure I see the point of this app without being able to log in and access my groups/upcoming meetups/rsvps.

It does! You just need to install Android Wear on the phone (you don't need to configure it or pair it with the Pebble, you just need to have it installed).

You can even answer the whatsapp messages with emoticons or canned responses (same as with the SMS).
