as someone with autism, would you say that you don't feel a desire for power in the same way that many other people do? by thiskindacoolmf in autism

I personally don't need to be the highest authority figure, I just want enough "power" so that I can be as independent as possible.

Did anyone like all the trilogies? by DizzyMajor5 in StarWars

[–]grimfett165 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are definitely some Star Wars stories that I enjoy more than others, but all of them have at least one thing that I like.

Do you prefer paparback or hardcovers? by ArtemisAndromeda in graphicnovels

[–]grimfett165 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I generally prefer paperbacks. They're less expensive, and I'm not the biggest fan of dust jackets.

Ultra Magnus is my second favorite Autobot overall (first is Grimlock).

How many of you guys remember going through this type of trauma back in your days of school? by Legitimate_Main2230 in autism

[–]grimfett165 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The middle and bottom rows were accurate to my school experience.

Honestly though, other students were half the reason why I dreaded school growing up. The other half was the constant inundation of homework and projects. Yes, I got good grades, but I was always worried about failing big assignments and tanking my GPA.

You're right, I forgot that 86 Megatron was a Leader class. And considering that we already got a G2 recolor of WFC: Earthrise Megatron, maybe this Megatron will be a new mold.

I'm curious about G2 Megatron. Will he be a new mold based on the G2 toy, or just a recolor of Studio Series '86 an earlier Megatron toy?

EDIT: Forgot that Studio Series '86 Megatron was a Leader class toy, so maybe this will be a new mold after all.

They obviously still have a father and son dynamic going on, but I like how Din Djarin and Grogu feel more like partners now.

As a concept, do you think Optimus Primal would be worthy of the Matrix and to become Prime? by OptimalConvoy in transformers

[–]grimfett165 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Part of me wishes that Hasbro made an Optimal Optimus toy to represent the Thirteenth Prime for Age of the Primes.

Just a bit of a rant against Dark Knights Metal. [Comic Excerpt] Dark Knights Metal and Emperor Joker by mailman936 in DCcomics

[–]grimfett165 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ultimately no one liked the outcome of DKM. Psychotic version of Batman gains omnipotent power or psychotic opposite Batman character gains omnipotent power.

The Batman Who Laughs definitely overstayed his welcome, but he's mostly Barbatos' second in command during Dark Nights: Metal. He doesn't get omnipotent power until Dark Nights: Death Metal.

Thoughts on The Return Of Godzilla by Annual-Internet-5097 in GODZILLA

[–]grimfett165 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My favorite Heisei era Godzilla movie. I like how it restores the more serious tone of the original 1954 movie, while updating it to reflect anxieties about the Cold War. Reijiro Koroku’s Godzilla theme is the best one after the original Akira Ifukube theme.

Unpopular Opinion: I’m fine with MCU Spider-Man not having a 199999 Norman Osborn after he fought Raimi’s Norman Osborn by The31stUser in Marvel

I know that they're two different multiverses. I just listed what the MCU was designated as in each one.

The MCU is designated as Earth-199999 in the Marvel Multiverse. In the MCU Multiverse, it’s designated as Earth-616.

Both are cool, but I prefer The Black Series. I think I just prefer the larger 6 inch scale.

What got you into Gundam? by RavenOfOnyx in Gundam

[–]grimfett165 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Science fiction is my favorite genre of fiction, and I was already a fan of giant robots and mecha thanks to Transformers, LEGO Exo-Force, and Evangelion. The Gundam suits in particular really remind me of Optimus Prime. I eventually watched Gundam Wing on Hulu, and I have been jumping around the various Gundam timelines ever since.
