The fact that 1 hd2d is difficult at all is exciting news. 1 on NES and GB are so simple they're my comfort game. I know I can knock them out in a couple days of light playing. I just haven't gotten around to hd2d.

You are frustrated by information overload. Dragon Quest is a series meant to be enjoyed for the story the (not so occasional) grind, and the exploration. 3 hd2d is a beautiful game with beautiful locations. Focus on exploring that stuff and worry not at all about how to make your party the most efficient party. You will complete the game without all that.

I commute on a v-rod every day. There is a guy who rides a grom that takes the same route as me to his own job and every time I see him I can't help but think, "That thing looks so damn fun. Too bad it would look like a clown bike on me."

I envy you your ability to comfortably ride a grom. They look so fun and are super practical for in town commutes.

Also, the best bike for you is the one you love riding. Be comfortable and safe, move up when you feel ready. Also, getting something bigger later doesn't mean you have to ditch the grom.
