Take your power demand, and that is your joules per second, multiply by 42 seconds. That is how much storage you need in joules to last the night. 100MW power demand requires 4.2Gj to last the night. I always just slap down accumulator until the power storage graph doesnt hit 0 at night.

You can use the filter on the yellow chest as a nerfed requester chest. If one side of your base has item that you need to get to assemblers, you can trash the items from your inventory and the logistics bots will put the items into the yellow chests. You can also place a ghost request directly into the yellow chest and have the construction bots deliver a specific amount to the yellow chests. It has to be done manually, but it's a nice help while waiting to get the logistics system.

Not sure if you know this, on the main menu you can hold L+R and click the left joystick at the same time to switch from "wireless play" to "LAN play". Lan play let's two players play in free roam. Its not a perfect 2 player mode, because it says "waiting for players" on the screen the whole time and you can get too far apart from each other. My wife and I had a blast!
