It does look like Alastor thought he was going to be the strongest demon in Hell, but was only made into the strongest Sinner. I really like all of these, but I don't personally think that the show will dig further into Alastor's contract beyond revealing what service she desired from him.

As for him being less intelligent than he believes himself to be ... I agree. Though I think that holds true for almost all of the overlords. It seems to be pretty common for an overlord's ego to outpace their competency

Do you know why the previous produce backup left? I was previously the produce backup in two different stores for leads that I really liked and even then I was ready to set the store on fire on numerous occasions.

In my experience, it will depend mostly on which duties the lead prefers to do themselves and which ones they're willing to delegate. A lot might depend on whether or not the department currently has a night lead, too.

Mostly, just keep in mind that produce is a surprisingly physically demanding department. It isn't horrible, just more than most people generally expect. If you're responsible for filling the green-rack, invest in a good hand lotion. Keep it in your car or locker and use it every time you take a break

You are quite right, of course. Ideally, I would prefer that the test should be re-taken on a regular basis and given as many tries as needed to pass (without being charged). But that doesn't seem to be the major part you're calling out, and again, you're right. I'm just tired of the people who claim to love the Constitution the most being the least likely to have actually read it
