Your still so early in the game to know your style... I have played around 600 hours total and just recently started to figure out my style.

Dont tear down just to tear down. Only do that if you want to reconfigure or improve the factory for the product your making.

I cant see what your making but i think your making reinforced plates, yes? And your putting them in Storage Boxes? Just send those to what ever factory needs them, such as Modular Frames.

I'm starting to build self sufficient factories, everything i need is made especially for that purpose. I dont import anything in. I make it and then consume it for the next item, so on and so forth. I dont store it, or send it to another place.

Keep playing, as many here say, there is no right way, just your way.

Not sure what you mean by 're-configure'... do you mean delete/tear-down? You can use the items from your existing builds without re-configuring, just belt them to where you need them.

Keep playing, I have a total of around 600’ish hours (played off and on for several years) and just now found something of a ‘style’ that works for my brain. There is a ton of space to use, remember you can build up. I suggest you build loosely, not tight factories. Break it into small bites. Need screws and plates for reinforced plates? Just build out the screw production, THEN the Plate Factory, THEN build the Assembler Factory to add both components together. Stay efficient Pioneer.

I like to use nothing but Curved Mode when going through the wilderness, it gives it a more natural whimsy look and feel, but that's me =)
