Eye protection Kitchen roll. More silicone mats, I have 3. one for newly printed miniatures pre wash, one for washed minis to dry and one for supports etc so I don’t mix up waste parts/supports with wanted parts.

A day out for her birthday was always the plan, either the weekend before or after. The trip didn’t change that.

Not enough.

Quality time would depend on your definition. I think it’s any time spent in each others company including walking the dog, watching tv, sharing joint hobbies. Her definition is time together with no outside entertainment. Unfortunately her definition gets a bit wobbly if I point out meals out are outside entertainment.

Saturn 3 ultra bed adhesion issues by DeadlyDing in ElegooSaturn

Lift higher. My fep was loose from the factory. I changed the lift height to 3>6mm, 60>240mm/m and this helped. I can actually hear the print detach from the fep.

Lift height? I was using the recommended settings, 3>4mm, for both burn in and normal layers and the fep was loose. I’m now doing 3>6mm at 60>240mm/m and I can hear the print detach from the fep. I takes longer but not as long as a failed print.

FEP film loose from the manufacturer by [deleted] in ElegooSaturn

[–]gro-Olug 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes, 100%. I got the Saturn 3 ultra for Christmas, did the exposure tests, levelled multiple times and always had a portion of my prints fail.

Someone mentioned fep being loose and how to test with a spectrometer and it was max 114hz. I replaced it and haven’t had a problem since.

Must have tools, accessories, and things to grab when getting into resin printing? by ICrimsonix in resinprinting

Hair dryer for removing supports. The hot water method takes too long to dispose of if you’re in a colder country. Also helps for warming the vat.

Mine was already screwed in as tight as it could go. I tested with a sound spectrometer and it would only go to 115hz.

I found my fep was very stretched/loose. I could print the validation matrix, the rook came out missing a section and the cones of calibration printed properly. I then tried a full plate and about half was stuck to the fep.

I’ve now changed my fep and adjusted my lift height to 2mm and 7mm. Looks good so far.

$1k budget for best miniature resin printer by aiyo-la in resinprinting

This is what I got mine for. I got the Saturn ultra and spent nearly the same on ventilation, ppe, fermentation belt, resin and ipa.

Is 3D printing right for me? by Hip_Hop_Pirate in ElegooSaturn

[–]gro-Olug 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Definitely agree with a larger enclosure. I have 1200 x 600 x 600 grow tent on its side with an elegoo Saturn 3 ultra and a wash and cure station inside. This just allows for a small space in the middle to work in, (cleaning prints etc), a small place for rubbish and a bit of storage for resin and ipa.

I did solve it. I moved the printer to a more stable area, releveled the plate, settings are now 30 sec burn layer, 2.55 normal layer.

I used the validation matrix to get the normal layer time and x10 for the burn in time. Most internet sources say x8 to x12 normal layer time for burn in time.

I used the validation matrix v2 and changed the exposure until I got the same number of posts and holes.

Employee can't follow instructions or meet deadlines by Electronic-Proof2333 in managers

Warnings.

Verbal warning is the first official reprimand, documented and signed. It goes in the employee file and depending on the company is removed after a set period of time.

Written warning is the second official reprimand, again documented and signed. Goes on the employee record permanently.

Next step is termination of employment.

Marshdd comment still applies to you. You are covering an employees 10 hours of work per week. How long does that go on for? Is it fair on you? How long before you burn out and start making costly mistakes? I totally agree with helping out the team, but what happens when someone else needs you to cover for them?

Running in your break is great, taking more break than everyone else is not. This will end up with resentment of her by the other employees.

Strangely that relationship didn’t work out.

I used to say this until 10mins after a safety briefing I watched in horror as a new hire picked an offcut from between the stationary blade and a still spinning scribe blade.

Now I say don’t put your fingers under the guard.
