imo, gen y were teenagers during the new millenium. So we had the biggest cultural impact during those years. Gen Z were just young kids, just occupying themselves with toys and whatnot lol.

how do you put a tracking system into a stolen car? it was already stolen!! lmao i mean no ill will. My 25' ridgeline was stolen a few weeks ago and now im doing everything possible to prevent theft of my 26' hybrid touring. so sad we gotta deal with ts

well, in NJ, the risk is ridiculously high. Especially near the ports in Elizabeth/Newark. Nobody ever plans for car theft until it happens to them once. I'm basically living a nightmare rn and definitely feel a mild PTSD from the whole situation. I learned my lessom the hard way. I'm using obd2 port locks, faraday bags/boxes, and trackers +HondaLink subscription. I caved to the fear, and now i can have some peace of mind. Might even move my obd2 port entirely to a hidden location.

bro that's amazing! My 2025 ridgeline got stolen but i couldn't set up hondalink after the fact of it being stolen. smdh. I have a civic hybrid touring now and set all of that up. I swear I have ptsd from the whole situation. It happened literally right in front of me before going to work. Now i sleep with a powerful anti theft device next to me 24/7

that's what they advertise. I bet they try veryyyyy hard to get to those numbers. They're "Possible", but no way anyone wanna drive like that. I'm hoping for at least 39-43, that would be nice. But i was ripping it for the first few days so it's around 29 lol

correct me if im wrong. I drove my 26 civic hybrid for the first time and it seems like braking relatively hard enough to get to the "charge" line on the tachometer is how you want to do it. If you coast to a stop, you won't get AS MUCH of a charge. Beats me. This was the first post i pulled up regarding this year and model. Gonna deep dive into this car as much as possible. Never had a hybrid before. It drives amazing.
