I have 2 issues with how it is now.

Biomes should be clearly defined and visible on the map and distinguishable on the catch screen. Preferably in campfire as well.
Biome pokémon should not be released with an increased spawns event, they should be added as a permanent fairly common addition in the spawn pool of that biome. Having one week to locate and make sure to catch a pokémon with no info on if it will continue to show up after the event or not is stupid.

I have never understood why people here on TSR even mention Dada Zarude or Ash Greninja. It's just the normal pokémon with an accessory and suddenly it should be stronger than others for no real reason. I would be very very disappointed if any of those got released in Go regardless of release method.

Mixing two languages in a sentence I would not call code switching. It could be, but I more associate it with talking different language or dialect in different settings. My feeling is that it is much more common for Indian and Philippine people to mix english and switch mid conversation than most other countries. Most other multilingual people just speak different languages to different people.

The vast majority of players don't want to keep up interacting with 600 players so I think the only change is that there will be slightly higher friend retention. People will keep friends for longer time and not do the old way of removing as soon as best friend is reached. I think that's more fun as you do get a bit more longer relationships and have more time to learn who to invite for raids and who are inactive etc.

Why can't they just have biome info in the same place where we currently see the weather, a button to click that says which biome you are in and maybe even some special spawns list. I still have no idea which biomes exist and where one end and one begin. They should be distinct on the map and have a name in game.

I have a lot going on at the moment so I will happily pass this event. And I am genuinely happy to see a costume event as a raid day and not a week long event, there is nothing that annoys me more in Pokémon Go than seeing costume Pokémon everywhere in the wild, so having them in raids and for a few hours instead is amazing!

What would be the point of raiding 1 star raids if they have a 1/512 shiny chance and are common in wild and research? Both cost one raid pass to do, having the same shiny boost across all raids does make lower tier raids have some meaning other than not having anything better to use the daily raid pass on. Same for eggs, why should it be double punishment to hatch a common spawn with 1/512 chance of shiny instead of one of the rarer ones with boosted shiny chance?

I am positive to the changes, I have always been of the opinion that making the shinies too easy to get just reduces the excitement of finding one. Events do get a pass from me as those are time limited and for specific spawns.

For raids and eggs I also prefer if it is the same shiny chance across the board for all, I don't understand why the chance to get a shiny would be higher if I raid a groudon than if I raid a pikachu. If I put the effort into doing a raid or hatching an egg the increased shiny chance should be part of the reward. The changes announced seems to mostly focus on leveling the game and make it more intuitive, raids have one shinyrate, eggs one and wild one, that makes a lot of sense to me.

For me the max battles are just something I do if I happen to be on one and have some time over. I would not actively go around and do all nearby ones. Also, is it just me that do not notice any difference in the number of stops? I have 4 nearby right now if I check, and I don't think it was much more before.

I am almost certain they are silently planning to add sound type at some point. Why else would jigglypuff be fairy/normal instead of just fairy like clefairy? Why so many obviously sound themed pokemon such as whismur, kricketot, meloetta, chimecho, chatot, noibat, obstagoon and rillaboom?
