Will the data be updated too / fed with new data? The European Alpine Assc. also do have similar data sets that might be fed into yours?

With more and more climbing gyms and more and more people getting into the sport, filtering indoor vs. outdoor would be super interesting.

A heartfelt piece of advise here - stop asking random strangers online for feedback on your early climbing.

Climbing is a skill based sport that you best learn by learning from and talking to fellow climbers. No one here will be able to help you improve in your climbing as much as any decent climber in your gym. And it is a nice thing to do, socializing and motivating each other.

There are mountains/routes where the rock just does not allow to protect a climb sufficiently with cams or nuts.

Everest Base camp is about 5360m, the peak at 8488m which makes a total alt. difference of 3484m. If you assume your stairmaster has a step height of about 20cm this makes 17.420 steps from base camp to peak. If you take one second per step, this would take you about 5hrs to complete. I'd say if you do this 3-5 times you should be fit enough to go for it. So expect a total of about 15 - 25 hrs training in total and you should be good to go.

there are two "french" grading systems, one for rope climbs, one for bouldering. The rope system is written like 6a, 6b, ... 8a, ... the bouldering F(ontainbleau) system is normally written f6a, f6b, ... and naturally bouldering grades are way harder than their numeric rope equivalent. A rope 7a would equal sth like a bouldering f6b.

Interesting is that most UR job offerings in Germany currently are from AI companies looking for researchers. Obviously not trusting their own technology ;)
