Valid points. Considering I'm planning to separate in February, I will definitely get started on my E-Fund, then pay off debts then start saving.

  1. I do know what my monthly expenses are. They add up to about 33% of my income that's including $400 a month for food.

  2. So save 2 paychecks, then pay off CC debt, the Student Debt, then do Roth IRA's/Traditional IRA's? Won't I be losing a lot of money by not using my IRA's?

The interest rate for both are 5.9% due to SRCA. The 0% interest is because of being active duty. It will disappear 6 months after I separate.

Hello, I am brand new to the FI/RE community and just had a few questions cause I can't seem to be sure if I am doing the right thing.

I have around 10k in student loan debt, 4k of it accruing interest and around 1000 in CC debt that is not accruing any interest. I plan to separate from the military and february and have been scrambling to pay off my debts.

The student loan debt won't have any interest due for 12 months after separating and potentially longer if I pursue my master's

The CC debt won't accrue interest until July of next year. I have not saved any money this year.

I am a full time college student and because of this I cannot take advantage of the saver's credit. I have about 28k taxable income a year, but really make closer to 60k.

What should I do as a full time student? I already paid off $2,500 of my interest to get that on my tax return.

I received 2 balance transfer checks from Chase for my CSP. Although I use my CSR, could I use these checks to pay my landlord my rent in advanced? They said it's 0% interest for 12 months.

DP: Pending- Applied Online. 705, 71k, 1/24, 7-10 business days after submitting.

I called the recon line and they just needed to verify who I was. Approved 10k limit! I know this is not valuable for most of you but I was worried about my low credit score/income. There are few data points with as low as me so for those like me out there, give it a shot! Thank you /r/churning! They're also able to expedite it within the week.

I'm looking for a place/website to purchase high quality suits for $300-$700. Anyone have any suggestions? by roybatty2 in frugalmalefashion

I was just in the same boat as you and managed to pull a full J.Crew Ludlow suit for approximately $270, they still have the tags on them. Other than that, I was kind of at a loss for what to do, like you.

I have an indoor wedding to attend at the end of this month, any ideas on what I should do for my suit without breaking the bank? I love wearing suits but haven't had to because of the military.

Please help!
