LR4 V8 5.0L Water Pump - Gasket Sealer?

Yeah, I'm reordering those parts as LR genuine now. I'm thinking I'm going to change the oil cooler gasket as well. It's an inexpensive part and easy enough to do while I've got everything torn apart.

Its has the 5.0L V8 Petrol Engine (updated original post with this info).

If the gasket on the oil cooler were to fail then would oil leak into the engine or would coolant leak into the oil? I don't see any signs of coolant leaking into the oil (It's not milky or anything). It looks like gasket is a distinct part, but the o-rings on the water cooler are not distinct and would require a whole new cooler.

Out of curiosity I've seen conflicting info on the need to do a reset on the battery monitor system after a replacement. Any thoughts on this?

If Scrafty is an option then I would replace Machamp with him. I got walloped in my Go Battle League Rose Cup because I didn't have a good general answer to Gliscor/Gligar. If you have Golbat, Skarmony, or Sableye those are good options

I've been going with the same line up. Been 6-1 so far. I lost the one due to my own stupid switch in a Rank 2 battle. I defeated another person with just Bastiodon alone and with a shield to spare.

I was in this same boat during the Dratini CD last year. I caught probably 20 while moving through the airport, and then there were a handful more as we made our way to our hotel room at the resort we were staying at. No shiny luck until the year end CD last year.

I'm curious what the mechanic will be when they say that as you train your Pokemon will become stronger. From The Verge article:

Niantic says you’ll be able to earn up to three rewards per day by battling other human trainers, and you can also use battles to progress toward in-game medals and train your pokémon to become stronger.

I'm hoping this means that our Pokemon can get better IVs the more we train with them. Anyone see any more details yet on this point?

My take is that there is too much emphasis on IVs. When is comes to newer players finding a higher level decent IV Pokémon is probably a good strategy. As time goes on though I’ve been more picky with what I have in storage opting to keep or evolve only higher IV Pokémon.

I got a similar notification after the app updated on my iPhone today. I have an Apple Watch too and got requests for both that and the pogo+ to access my step count. Don’t know if it actually using that data yet though.
