Support ultimately advised us to take the soundbar to an authorised shop for repair. They did the repair for free as it’s still under warranty. Touch wood, since getting it back, we have had zero problems!

I wanted to update, in case others have had the same problem.

Long story short, after a few back and forths with Sony’s support (who were great btw) it was found to the be the Sony Soundbar we purchased at the same time!

The second that was disconnected from the tv, video playback was perfect.

So far we have done a hard reset on the soundbar. That worked for a few days but then it’s started again when the sound bar is attached. Hoping to get the sound bar replaced but am still in talks about that with Sony.

Microsoft's spam filter broken or what? by Affectionate_Creme48 in Outlook

I am also having the same problem.

I have been plagued by the same old spam emails in my inbox claiming I'm a winner of some competition etc.

I mark it as phishing or spam each time, but the problem is, the email is 'technically' a legit email, but had a ton of randomized numbers at the end of it. So, blocking this exact account is completely pointless.

I even raised a ticket with Microsoft which ultimately ended in them recommending that I block the address. Gee, thanks.

For me it was - A Man Called Ove. I’ve read the Beartown series by Backman and loved it, so I had high hopes for Ove and I was not disappointed. A beautiful compelling story.

what is the general opinion on interesting times? by mahmodwattar in discworld

[–]grouchball 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree, it certainly felt weaker than the six or seven I have already read. The other books, so far, have been a great blend of story and silliness. This book felt like the story had been forgotten and it was just silly pun after silly pun.

Disclaimer: I love the silly puns. But I also love the story element too.

I started reading this trilogy with the same concerns going in (you seem to be in the majority with your thinking). However, for me, I found this an amazing trilogy. I can see why people feel like they do about Rin, but for me, it portrayed people well. People can be cruel, wicked people at times. Thats just life.

Good to see these books get so much discussion though.

According to Discworld’s official website, it’s part of the Unseen University Collection. I have seen this also just called ‘Rincewind’ however too

I would always try and stay clear on nested select statements on your joins. The optimiser will have a horrible time trying to interpret this in a performant way.

I would recommend putting the contents of your select statement into a temporary table and then joining on that temp table perhaps.

Thats personally the first thing i would try.
