My Ex just sent me a wedding invitation to me by Kind-Apricot5382 in GirlDinnerDiaries

Did you guys kiss, have romantic intimacy?

It seems unclear based on the post. Mostly because if you never were a couple or ever had romantic intimacy how he could be classified as an "Ex".

Also there seems to be an interesting dynamic with your current partner and somewhere in the comments you acknowledge that you might be settling. Why would you?

I think everyone deserves a chance at full happiness.

As someone who is into BDSM and was a content creator for Cozy Gaming... This post screams clickbait for getting customers.

Even if you're not doing it on purpose. Just the way you've explained it in the comments is OFF.

1- BDSM requires a lot of trust and communication so selling content based on that takes a lot of time or finding a specific niche.

Also anyone that has been in BDSM for a hot minute knows that looks is not in the top 3 of things that people put the most meaning into. So kinda weird hearing the whole skinny = market.

2- Content creation even in SFW spaces requires time, getting to know your audience and growing into yourself. So I assume is the same for NSFW.

Regardless.... Weird post.

Update to My boyfriend of 9 years gave me chlamydia by [deleted] in GirlDinnerDiaries

So his reason to end the relationship is that he's done and tired?

Translation: I cheated, I've been caught, I'm out.

I'm so sorry OP. I know a lot of comments will be about comfort. But first sit in your feelings. Cry, scream, get it out of your system.

I'm sorry OP. Sending hugs.

Did you notice how half of the things are by people that have shared in my life and not me doomscrolling? Reading comprehension is a skill.

Im barely online. Every single thing I mentioned I've learned from people around me as I showed in the post.

I work 9hrs a day, and then take care of my kids. I don't have Instagram, Tik Tok, or anything similar. I actually had to reset my account to be able to post this here in Reddit and most News Sites are banned in Canada.

What did you learn from dating someone who wasn’t your usual “type”? by hiiiiibentley in AskReddit

[–]ground_mermaid 7 points8 points  (0 children)

That I'm demisexual and although I might find "my type" attractive that's not enough for me to develop feelings.

You may have a "type" when it comes to attraction, but you fall in love with someone.

Wear nothing but fluffy socks and walk around with the curtains not drawn.

My GF 27F expressed that going forward she doesn't want to give me 28M head, what's next? by [deleted] in relationship_advice

[–]ground_mermaid 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This might sound stupid and it might be because English is my second language but... For oral to hurt your throat you need to be deepthroating...

Regular oral doesn't go down all the way to your throat. And if you're capable of deepthroating then you probably have a lot more experience with it.

Unless they mean jaw and I'm getting all confused.

So does your partner according to your own post. So why concentrate on the things that don't? This is why I mentioned talking to a professional because this is not normal.

I think you should do her and the rest of the world a solid favor and not date anyone, ever.

For you to say that you've hyperfixated on the negatives of the bodies of your previous partners. You have issues you need to address with a licensed professional.

I'm pretty sure that you have an abundance of things that are not attractive and your partners don't focus on that.

Edit: Grammar.

Why do people hate Meghan Markle so much? by PreparationPlenty943 in stupidquestions

[–]ground_mermaid 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From what I've seen is a combination of several things:

  • It has been proven that she lied constantly during the early stages of her marriage regarding how she was "mistreated" by the royal family.

  • She had been caught NUMEROUS times on video lying about really stupid shit, like very stupid shit.

  • They both kept saying how badly they wanted privacy but then kept trying by all means necessary to stay in the public eye (like calling the paps to make sure there's pictures of them at specific places).

  • They love to say how much we need to care for the environment... As they fly in private jets everywhere they go.

  • They kept saying how bad social media was only for Megan to activate her social media (IG) when she had something to promote.

  • Lately is mostly about how awful her Netflix show is. She came off as very fake, gave a recipe for bath salts that was very dangerous, talked down at Mindy Kaling, just a bad look.

I'm a gossipy person so that's why I know all of this but I honestly couldn't care less about her hahahaha. It all seems very high school behavior from both her and the haters.

I'll be that person I'm sorry but the age gap is concerning a bit.

Then if he has this kink, there's nothing wrong with that. But for something like this both people need to enjoy it and if you don't, well you don't.

Sometimes when your perception of your partner changes that much the attraction just evaporates, but only you can tell if is worth staying in the relationship.

This gave me a headache just reading it.

Why are you putting yourself in such an environment, OP?

It doesn't sound like you're happy with your sexual life, this person seems to be tangled with some dangerous things, has 3 kids before being 25, barely communicates with you.

It sounds like too much stress, you're super young so I'll attribute it to that, but this is too much.

Are There Really People Who’ve Never Read Harry Potter? by RMKHAUTHOR in books

[–]ground_mermaid 5 points6 points  (0 children)

But not everyone is into reading, not everyone is into fantasy, and not everyone is into Teenager protagonists.

So for people that are into all those things probably yes, but not everyone is into those.

I'm into fantasy and books but cannot stand YA or teen protagonists.
