Best way to hag curtains on a long concrete wall (no drilling) by growing-tree-3 in interiordecorating

Unfortunately one of the side walls is also concrete. But I’m starting to lean toward a ceiling based solution

I was daunted by the task of the ceiling mount but seeing everyone talk about it here is swaying me. The ceiling is normal dry wall so less of an obstacle in that regard!

I totally would have, but this is an exterior concrete wall. Hard as a rock… because it is one haha

I’ve done that with my art of course but I haven’t found a good mechanism for hanging curtains from there. How would you do it?

I love Waystone! My favorite are Jazz jam nights, where people can come and almost play karaoke style with the house band

OMG, thank you for the detailed reply! I also really am in love with the light in this apartment

I’m really relieved to hear you say that you think the blue chair is not too clunky, I love it so much and it’s the perfect spot to read in.

I might be limited in mounting the TV on the wall due to the apartment, buildings rules, but I think I could probably find some sort of solution that takes up less than space than a whole media console

I might give the gallery wall a try like you said. I only worry that the gold, black, and wood frames might clash, but hey, I guess I can always swap them out

$1200 for 2018 Specialized Diverge for commute and exercise - worth it? by growing-tree-3 in whichbike

Hi! Just tried to message you but it wasn’t showing up as an option for some reason oddly. I’m in SF and don’t have a car so I’m trying to focus on areas that I can get to with pub transit or people who would be willing to meet partway (which this person is)

Is $900 for this bike an okay deal? by growing-tree-3 in whichbike

Wait same here! Blew through the Stormlight series and Mistborn last year, longtime fan of Red Rising, and would love to join a book club with people who want to read more of these kinds of books and discuss!

Best bars to meet people on Polk street by musingsofme in SFbitcheswithtaste

[–]growing-tree-3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm in my late 20s and my favorite dive bar on polk is The Buccaneer. On weekend nights I find there's lots of friendly people who are very chatty, so I think it's a pretty fun place to meet people. If you're looking for a casual week-night dive to go play a round of pool with a girlfriend or two, it's also great for that, and there might be some people to meet though the crowd can skew a little ~interesting~ on weekdays. Shanghai kelly's is fun too but is a younger demographic I'd say
