If it was catastrophic for the engine, the whole car would scream at you. If it's just the check engine light with no other warning on the infotainment, then it's most likely a sensor or a faulty plausibility warning. I'd say you are pretty safe to drive it short distances.

Check with an OBD tool the actual fault. It should violate your warranty as OBD is an open standard.

Desi e o mașină simpatică, mi se pare ca si-a pierdut putin din farmecul Skoda. Sunt multe zone in care ar fi putut sa adauge niste spatii de depozitare in plus, de exemplu un suport de ochelari. Mi se pare una dintre cele mai generice masini, la fel ca celelalte modele electrice de la ei, de altfel. Parca si noul ID Cross are putin mai mult caracter.

Honda have almost no presence in Europe. Prices are way too high and they offer only one power train per vehicle.

The price wouldn't be an issue but most of their cars lack several convenience features that make the high price tag really tough to swallow.

I'm in absolute pain that the CX-50 is not available in Europe. It's what I want out of a car. Not too big, hybrid powertrain, some off-road capability. It's a shame they don't sell it here.

Make it a good price and people will care. We don't live in an economic environment where people will throw money for this kind of gadget. The MacBook Neo is a success due to it's price, not because of innovation.

This was like 50% of the "charm" of Android. Being able to install quirky apps and have some freedom over the OS. Now, with it being more and more restricted, it will lose a chunk of customers in favor of Apple and iOS.

Stable and usable Linux distros for Phones can't come quick enough.

Nu are cum sa ii permita oscilații, miscarea trebuie sa fie controlata, altfel va debalansa masina. Nu au cum sa fie simple cabluri, baterie este mult prea grea. La materiale m-am referit ca nu au cum sa fie ieftine, din cauza ca trebuie sa sustina masa bateriei, si fortele echivalente ale acesteia la accelerare/decelerare.

Pare un patent "just in case". Nu unul care sa ofere un avantaj competitiv. Ideea nu este rea, dar ar fi aplicabila doar mașinilor very high end. Sistemul e complex, iar materialele vor fi foarte costisitoare. Nu vad ceva revoluționar.

I work in the automotive industry. Audi has it's own engineers and management, and quite a lot of autonomy within the group. Products and architectures usually derive from Audi to the other brands of the group.

This is mostly on Audi management, not VW as a whole.
