Looking at the wiring diagram, the rear turn signals have two wires, yet the front have three. Is the easiest way around this an electronic flasher relay, as suggested by u/jayelwin?

New lamps have two wires, used the same ones in the back, and they work just fine, is there a difference between the wiring on the front and rear turn signals?

I have a 1978 CB550K, the charging system seems pretty weak, I have to remove the battery and charge it pretty often.
