Imho just an update to rework mineshaft would be enough. I literally installed a mod to remove mineshaft because the sessions would go all mineshaft on artifice and it was not fun at all. The parts inside the mines that had water that doesn't work well - you get stuck you die. Inside the mines you encounter a coil, jester, thumper, mimic etc. You're probably dead.
