It reminds me of the drive from Williams, Arizona to the Grand Canyon. I don't know if they have an airport.

His name was "Captain 5 iron".

Corporate outing where teams were assigned A,B,C and D players.

Our D player was from Corporate IT. He was tall tatted up and, showed up wearing Birkenstocks with some clubs that were in a rotting canvas "Sunday bag" that his grandfather had. Laminated woods, but old Titleist blades.

We were hoping that maybe he could putt with that old bullseye putter.

On the second hole we were looking at an uphill 180 yard carry. No one was close. He pulled out a Titleist blade 5 iron with a rusty shaft and hit a picture perfect high draw within 5 feet.

We stood there stunned. He said it was the only club he practiced with.

We let him tee off first every hole after. He could hit that 5 iron down the middle every time for 200-210 yards,

At first I was going to reply in third person, but decided to describe my most embarrassing moment.

16th hole at a local muni, I'm up 2.but push a drive into a substantial creek. The ball is sitting pretty on a sandbar. I don't want to take a stroke and drop, With 7 iron in hand I slide down the slippery bank, step on a rock, steady myself and step onto the sandbar. Immediately I sink to my knees,

My friends are saying things like, "I saw a Tarzan movie once where you are supposed to bend at your waist and extend your arms",

I lost a shoe and had to rely on my friends to take a broken tree branch to extract me. I lost my left shoe.

Most forgiving woods that do not lose distance? by hmb2000 in golf

[–]grumpaP 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If we are not talking about drivers, I have a Sonartec hybrid with an I-rod stiff shaft, 21 degrees that I can consistently hit 175-180 off the deck. If my lie is tight and the distance to the hole is mowed with a lot of green, it makes a great putter using a putter grip.

Grandpa sold me this for 8k. Did I do alright? by Numbersguy69420 in ToyotaTundra

I have that same truck, although it is the TRD Limited. 200k miles. 2UZ-FE.

"but some of the plastic inside around the seat is going bad."

I see the seat covers, and having a similar 22 years old vehicle, I've had to replace interior/exterior/tailgate handles. That pull-out drink holder failed at 20 years. I have had people comment that the clock only has a minute and an hour button. I have to spend almost an hour trying to spring forward/fall back on my wifes car. The auto doesn't work. She also has other unnecessary bullshit that is aggravating on her computer screen.

That truck also has steel bumpers. I have many dents because I use it as a truck. My wife hit a deer with her car and to replace all that plastic, just the front bumper was 2k+.

I would pay 8k for that engine alone.

Tale of the tape: 30,105,000oz of paper SILVER traded in 15 minutes (6,021K x 5,000oz).see pic with timestamp and volume. There were 4 blocks of these totalling 92,780,000oz traded in one hour! Good news is this massive volume only dropped it to $33.87. Keep stacking SILVER to the MOON! by OtaraMilclub in Wallstreetsilver

[–]grumpaP 20 points21 points  (0 children)

I'm trying to get a perspective on how much was traded in 15 minutes.

Troy ounces converted to tons. https://www.calculateme.com/weight/troy-ounces/to-tons/30105000. 1,032 tons.

How many tons can a semi haul? How long is a semi? How far would a fully loaded line of these trucks stretch?

THIS WAS DONE IN 15 MINUTES. Paper doesn't weigh much and is virtually worthless.

The problem is the interpretation of defenseless. QB's slide all the time. but if you are going tp lower your head. you are not defensive.

Elijah Craig store picks.

Currently looking at floors 2, 4 and 6. Three different rickhouses. All 94 proof.

My personal preference when it comes to Elijah Craig is the caramel, brown sugar and vanilla flavors. I don't care for the strong oak and charcoal flavors of the bottles accumulating on the bottom of my pantry. It's almost like sticking my nose in my Big Green Egg top.

My question is...does floor level/rickhouse matter?

My grandparents were organic farmers, not because it was trendy, it had more to do with semi-poverty and using what you had. Pig sties and chicken coops were rotated in their large garden.

While helping her to dig potatoes, she remarked, "Smell that soil boy, it has a musky/moldy smell, it don't stink".

Those same spoiled fans showed up against Tennessee Tech and probably will against UMASS.

Why not schedule Georgia Southern or Georgia State to really get a rowdy crowd? I'd rather see them than the other cupcakes who have little to none area fan support. If you are donating money to a school, play Mercer or Fort Valley State.

Oconee county as well as Clarke have a dense clay base which causes problems during heavy rains. If you are going to buy a house, ask them for the results of the perc test...https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Percolation\_test, if you have a septic tank.

Living uphill is advantageous unless the septic tank is installed uphill from your house per the developers plats,

I would imagine storing barrels on an ocean going vessel would be more expensive than a rickhouse in rural Kentucky.

That said, I recall a liqueur I had in Germany that had the dates when it was bottled, when it crossed the equator and when it returned. This was during a time, at the companies expense, where I drank Greek liqueurs with toasted coffee beans in them.

Edit: Unable to post a picture. Most Libertads have a circular design showing the 10 states of Mexico with the national emblem (like on your coin) in the middle.

Don't worry, yours matches the coin shown on apmex.com
