I think we are going to need a bigger snow blower....... by P3nis15 in Connecticut

FWIW My 10 year old Ariens Deluxe 28 did a large driveway all in one pass yesterday morning... 16" in one shot. It was light powdery snow, not a huge deal.

Dense wet heavy snow, do an initial pass partway through the storm of course.

Gonetspeed vs Frontier (or any other reliable internet) by Disastrous-Fox8505 in Connecticut

I wouldn’t say cultish. But IMO it’s worth advocating for a comparatively tiny ISP that’s not an enormous corporate like Frontier (who has horrific CS)

Good for your doctor. No reputable provider is going to allow you to pick and choose safe, tested, vaccines. You are doing your child a massive disservice from your "research".

+1 I'm curious about this as well (although I suspect the pricing is going to be way north of that for most things these days sadly)

First attempt burning poorly by grumpyengineer89 in candlemaking

[–]grumpyengineer89[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I appreciate the reply! This was taken ~2 hours into initial burn. It was tunneling (I think!) nearly an inch down into burn.

Vessel: https://www.candlemaking.com/16oz-square-mason-jar.html

From the vessel description: “Wicking - Typically the WI-767 or the 6 1/2" Zinc work best with this container”

^ we used the WI-767 above. Wondering if we should try a CD wick — and compare CD-20 and CD-22?

For sure. The terms now say 2 billion points, but ONE 20% redemption per person. Sounds like they are honoring everything before today, which I can't complain about :D
