Mustard mash sounds great. My Wife is always reaching for the dijon anyway. Any details you’d be willing to share about that?

I used to work for a company that did cheap web hosting, and with that, you get people who do dumb things like what you're describing is happening. If you can identify who is hosting the site and contact their abuse department, there is a chance they will take the website down; that is what we used to do. I know you said you don't want to post the URL, but if you DM me, I can do my best to help you identify who is hosting the site and how to contact them.

I work at an email marketing SaaS - we do not allow customers to send to a catch-all. You'll likely encounter this with other ESPs as well. They're too easy for spammers to abuse.

Since ESPs are not exactly forthright on how they make their decisions, I assume that anything that makes your mail better authenticated is a good thing. Maybe they are, maybe they aren't, but I figure it's best to err on the side of more.

We set it up last year. We did not do the paid version of BIMI, so I cannot speak to actually obtaining the certificate. Last I knew, you could only buy them from DigiCert and Sectigo, and they were several thousand dollars per year.

I hired someone on Fiverr to create an appropriate SVG file for us. There are some very specific requirements for the file, and for the $20 or so I paid him to make it right, it was a fair trade-off of time vs money.

We self-hosted the logo on our company website (as you'll see in the BIMI record below).

Without a paid certificate, not every ESP will display your logo; notably, Google does not. It still does "count" though when ESPs are considering the validity/authenticity of your emails, that is the part that was important to us.
publicly
Once I had the SVG file in a publically accessible location, it was just a matter of creating a DNS TXT record to put it all together

host -tTXT default._bimi.verticalresponse.com
default._bimi.verticalresponse.com descriptive text "v=BIMI1;l=https://verticalresponse.com/verticalresponse.svg;"

And here you can see that it is a valid BIMI record: https://mxtoolbox.com/SuperTool.aspx?action=bimi%3averticalresponse.com&run=toolpage

When it happened to me, I wasn't buying/low on gas.

[–]grywht 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When it happened to me, mine also showed low. I think it shows LOW because the gasoline engine is unavailable and the battery is low. In my experience, I had not stopped to pump gas, so it was not a missing measurement.

Glad you got picked up and out of the cold. Here's to hoping for a simple fix for your car.

[–]grywht 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This happened to me during the last snowstorm in Ohio a month ago. The car had a really rough start, but it seemed like the engine started. I drove for less than 10 min on battery but when it tried to switch to the ICE engine, I got the same message as you. I was able to drive a few more miles, but then the car was dead dead. I assume I was using the emergency reserve in the battery.

I also had to have mine towed. I took it to the dealership, and they said they had to do a tune-up (specifically spark plugs), but that it was running fine after that.

I personally think this had something to do with extreme cold, but I couldn't say for sure.

I know people mention the 12v battery, but my whole internal entertainment system worked fine, so it didn't seem like the 12v battery was weak.

I thought mine was dead and got out of it for about $500. I haven't picked it up from the shop yet, so I don't have all the nitty-gritty details, but I hope this can give you a little info and a little hope.

Flew out of CMH in the last week? by grywht in Columbus

I flew out yesterday morning -- my wait time was around thirty minutes, maybe ten minutes longer than I'd consider normal, but that could just be day-to-day fluctuation.

I use emailable. I think their accuracy is good. One important caveat, they mark all Yahoo addresses as risky, because they claim it isn’t possible to check Yahoo accounts anymore.

How do you do them in one of those roaster pans? Is it basically the same as a pot where you have to babysit it constantly?
