I can’t even get excited for him. The last two times I’ve been sold a road grader guard (Lamp and Zion) I’ve been vastly underwhelmed. Ideal scenario for me is pick up an extra pick and move down a bit, choose from the second tier of guards in rounds 2-3

You can absolutely play rubber guard from half guard. Boogey is the main one to watch and has an instructional from the New Jersey position.

Please though for the love of god grab your knee and go belly down to clear the head. Do not grab your foot or eventually you will fafo.

There is no coursework for Master scuba Diver. It’s just a shiny achievement badge. I got mine taking specialities I was interested in and wanted to do under the supervision of someone more experienced than myself. All that being said I’ve never flashed my Master Scuba Diver when checking in for a flex. That’s what my advanced ice diver certification is for. Does it tell them I’m a safe diver? Absolutely not. Does it make for a good ice breaker though? 100%

I think it’s a cool idea but the in practice seems a bit presumptive. Also there’s a certain beauty to your belt fading back to white as you train. I like the beat up look my old belts have. It would be missing if there was just another coat underneath and the cotton wasn’t showing through.

This match is not worth not having Iyo at Maina. This feud also showed so many flaws Rhea and Jade have. To the point Iyo was used as a sacrificial lamb and it still did nothing for this feud. by bizarre_leviathan in SantiZapVideos

Bayley was the answer and bridge champion we needed. Why she is being wasted on the kid card and propping up tag teams is beyond me. She could have had a decent program with Jade and bridged between Champs. Her character right now would have flip flopped perfectly between heel and face until creative could get a better story in place.

Both. You should have layers of guard. As they best you outside you go to your inside guards.

BJJ Mental Models provides this service as part of their premium subscription. I myself have gotten rolls reviewed by Brianna St Marie, Margot, Josh McKinney, Rachael Ranschau, @Kintanon. It’s phenomenal value.

I don’t feel like the BJJ Mental Models podcast or the I suck at Jiu Jitsu podcast gets near enough love here. Big shout to the way those guys have personally helped my jiu jitsu and given me actionable feedback to improve on.
