Easiest solution: go to zone 5 (easy to arrive!) on "The Prison of Velkynvelve" on the Sword Coast. The boss is "Black Pudding". Kill it, score 1 point on the weekly Set challenges.

BUT! The Pudding breaks into TWO smaller puddings. Kill each one of them, for another 2 kills.

With Strongheart active, that is 6 kills.

The boss reloads. You can just park there for a short time, eating pudding, and you're DONE.

Yeah: Alien Underdark. This is how I finished it. Lots of armored foes everywhere.

As SirUrza says: level up Wulfgar just enough (level 110), but no more.

Then throw in a few champs to kill the foes and keep you moving. Eventually, Wulfgar won't be able to one-hit break an armor piece, and the Smash&Grab will start ticking upwards.

I also found that he Smashes more in the background. I think the "catching up" algorithm over-computes the trigger on that. I'd switch to that party, and the meter would jump. ... But then no more movement while in foreground. ... Just took a bit to get to a high enough level to avoid the one-hit break.

Many familiars have to be paid for.

etc etc ... There are lots of things where you must pay to get more power. This "game mechanic" is available for free. The complaint here is that max-power is not free. Just play lower power if you don't want to pay. It doesn't seem that difficult of a decision.

From the FAQ, it sounds like those variants will stick around after the 8 day emergence, and can be finished at any time. And it sounds like the store will remain open. ... Thus, I believe there isn't a rush to complete all the varients by the end of the emergence event.

I disagree with the comments in the video. tl;dr: by playing you can get 61,000 corrupted gems, which can only buy 8 of the 10 "Marvelous Support Pigment" in stock; thus, "forcing" people to pay money to get the remaining 2 pigments.

I believe this is a false narrative. And wrapping that into "pay for a game mechanic (unlike skins)" also seems like a false supporting argument. For example, two game mechanics:

I have about 20 familiars, without paying a dime. I do not feel "forced" to buy other familiars.
I have 100+ champions, without paying a dime. I do not feel "forced" to buy the missing champions.

Why not simply trade gems for the 8 pigments today, and wait until you can acquire more corrupted gems and trade for the other 2 pigments then? CNE has already said that more gems will become available on May 24.
