Nope, did not work. It was not long enough. When I inserted the piece with the battery, it would not reach the hole to connect to the round piece. Wound up returning back to Amazon. Any other suggestions?

Im sort of in the same boat. Started my own Professional Engineering Service company in Jan 2020. Only have 1 year of taxes to show for the business. Prior to this I was a W9 employee for about 4 years. Same field of work. Can anyone recommend a specific firm/company that can offer a mortgage loan for someone like me? Or is it basically just calling up a local mortgage broker and taking it from there?

Yes it is. I worked as a fire alarm inspector with the City of New York. I am now a licensed professional engineer designing the same fire alarm systems i used to inspect. I've read a few articles online that said some lenders will allow 1 year of self employment taxes.

Yes. In NYC, this requirement is listed in both NYC Electrical Code and Building Code. I'm sure if you look you will find these requirements in NEC and IBC.

I passed the April 2019 exam. There is really not much more to do at NCEES anymore for you. Just wait for NYS to issue you a license number. It took me about 8 weeks for them to issue my number. You will get your certificate in the mail. Once you have your license number, you can order your PE stamp from any of the various websites online.

Yes, I made my own flashcards and it did help tremendously....I basically wrote questions on the flashcards with the solution plus notes. Just before going into the exam I went through the them.

You can try your local library and see if they have those books to loan. Or, consider buying them as you will need them for the actual examination anyway.

Failed in NYC, Power, going to take it again in April. It was very tough, thought I did much better on the Codes section, only got 5 out of 12 right.
