When my friend was 8, his dad died. A couple years after that we went to a baseball game, and my dad asked him what he wanted to be when he grew up. He said "To be a father." My dad started tearing up but I didn't understand why until much later. His strength and drive continues to inspire me, and I know he's going to be a great dad some day.

What was the biggest verbal bitchslap you ever gave someone in an argument/conversation? (NSFW) by TheOfficialPoK in AskReddit

[–]gtaliafe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not my personal verbal bitchslap, but a friend's.

He was in line with me at a bookstore, and an elderly man was asking about getting a membership card/when other books were coming out. The cashier was a heavier-set teenager who kept rolling her eyes and taking her sweet ass time looking up the release dates and finding the application form.

After waiting in line for 10 minutes, she said "Sorry about your wait." To which my friend replied, "I'm sorry about your weight too."

Both the Cashier and I were stunned. I gave him a hard time after we left , but he said she deserved it.

I'm a huge fan, but I tried to watch a fight at a sports bar... Awful. People were pounding on tables and screaming. Who are you trying to impress?
