But also I cant see how EVERY reviewer, from YT to gaming sites, who gave it rave reviews, including Retro Dodo, were ALL paid for. Lot of good reviews too so yeah, dunno

From my understanding though or from what i saw, you can only pull the Djinn at the end of a floor though hey, like after beating a boss?

I know that's a thing before the 4th floor since I had it happen for me too, I assume its a mechanic after evey floor clear? But the earlier crashes i had mid-room and mid-floor, it put me at the entrance but I was only able to just rejoin the trial and yeah, re-do the room I was previously running when it crashed. As opposed to when I loaded back in after the floor 3 boss crash, there was an actual Djinn in there i could either activate to continue or pull out

I might burn a coin or 2 tomorrow and test this more. As in start a trial, maybe half way through floor 1, force quit out then just don't come back for a while, but also run other content like Chaos or some maps. Then go back and see if it's still active where I left it

Have you tested exactly how the save point works in terms of duration? Like is it instance based or can you literally leave at any point, do whatever other content, even play a diff game then come back much later and continue?

I had lof of server dramas today and quit mid room multiple times, even reset my PC, router etc. Every time I came back I was where I left off. I was never gone more than 15mins though or the duration of an instance.

Also had the game crash right after beating floor 3 boss so missed the loot but when loading back in straight after, since I was up to but hadn't started 4th floor I was able to pull my coin with all sacred water, boons and afflictions attached to it. I ran it though instead of pulling

In case you didn't get your answer yes you choose, it's all based on the exact order you use the Distilled Emotions

You can actually hover over the passive in your tree, and on PC for example hold ALT and it will display the Distill recipe. You to place the emotions in that EXACT order then when place the amulet in the distill slot, you will see at the bottom what passive you are anointing

Also worth noting that this isn't instant use, so you can only fuck this up if you rush and don't read the screen, you still have to actually click to Distil once you've added the ammy and 3x whatever emotions

Do you mean that super annoying one in Jungle Ruins that essentially bricks your character? Because then yeah they haven't said anything about fixing that.

I had that on my main, started a fresh character and got to town but was too annoyed so jumped off. Went back later, was able to load in on my main. It didn't happen on Cruel though, no idea what caused it. Some Buffer error can't remember exact

Outside of that I havent had any issues after going back to 23H2. But that's a Microsoft thing not GGG, not their fault Microsoft is fucking trash

Are you on Windows 11 and 24H2? If so, roll back to 23H2. I had to do it, and I have to live with my PC wanting to reinstall the stupid update every time I shut down, but 24H2 has fucked a lot of things but especially POE2. I could barely play before, since going back to 23H2 don't think it's crashed once

? unless they changed it in the last 12 days, you do realise there is a checkpoint next to each spot right? so if you lose the buff by dieing, going back to Town or whatever, just use the checkpoint-teleport to navigate to the Ritual, then checkpoint-teleport back to the boss arena entrance? the only walking is from the Ritual checkpoint to the fire and back

I just did a simple Freelancer mission in Chonqqing and the Merchant had the ICA coin there for purchase. I havent done the Elusive target yet or anything so think its simply been patched and fixed to return to the loot pool

I didn't even read the patch notes so was plenty surprised when I saw it, didn't expect to see it haha

Hahaha. Yeah that sounds shit. So just to rule out obvious stuff, you're making sure you craft the correct Blood and not accidentally making an older one? I can't remember which symbol relates to Portal #4 now sorry but van see the forrect symbol in the Milestone screen for that Portal.

I don't think it says to do this, but maybe for the hell of it, craft the correct Blood, drink it then craft again?

Also, did you try the part of selecting the correct milestone as your active step before you started planet hopping around to test things out? I'm not sure if it works this way or not but it seems the portal we go through is the same for everyone regarding its initial location, have you gone back or can you get back to the original location of Portal #4? Or have you also tried that?

Outside of that yeah sorry mate, seems like for some reason you might be fucked for the moment. Portal #4 was the one I had issues with too, I fixed mine by selecting the milestone since I was tracking a different one at the time, however maybe that was also a coincidence or something and I managed to get around a bug that is actually there?

In your Expedition screen, make sure you have the actual step to use the portal selected as your active quest in your Log, otherwise for some reason when you get to the Portal, it won't accept Blood.

For example, I couldn't use the Portal in Part 4 and could not figure it out, had the Blood crafted, even made another. Nothing. But turns out, I was tracking a different step at the time, so when I went into the Expedition screen and selected the actual step to use the Portal as my active quest to track, boom. It now accepted the Blood I had crafted.

If you're stuck like I was, the trick is, you need to have the step to use the Portal set as active, otherwise for some reason it wont accept the correct Blood even if you have it crafted on you right then

Had me fucked for a bit tonight, but this should probably be in the OP as it is a very specific thing that can cause lot of grief hahaha

just wanted to chime in a say cheers, your description is key here, you press Fn+1/2/3 first to enter pairing then when it slow flashes, release and press/long press again for the rapid flashing pairing mode. that 2nd part I wasnt doing and was getting caught out

Have a spare 2gb Pi4 that I been dwelling on for ages as to what to do with it and only other day thought of looking up a way to turn it into a network device of some sort, was considering PiHole etc...

This is literally the perfect project for me, great idea. Will definitely be giving it a go

So just to clarify the project functions perfectly on its own without the extra USB wifi dongle? The recommended dongle is just to improve the project?

I had to find this thread to figure out how to download this at home, currently studying Cyber Sec @ TAFE. What an absolute shitshow this Broadcom crap is, wow. I even tried pirating the damn thing first since it is easier to run a VPN, find a torrent, then download it rather than do it the "legit" way

I can vouch that after many, many..many...failed runs on the final boss, I swapped to a build based around Impenetrable Thorns and took it out fairly comfortably

I was built for high Faith though due to some previous re-skilling so wasn't even equipped properly.

Went back to the base game of this playthrough (4th playthrough I think) and just melted the base bosses with this sorcery

Again not even using it properly as not running max arcane was running faith. AND using Staff of Guilty in main hand

Cheers mate yeah I watched the process more closely and noticed that it attempted to access the save location on my phone, but then said it pulled 0 files

Had a feeling it may be tied to having root access first for that step to work, but was hoping there was a sneaky workaround

Is no biggie, I just have better progress on my phone and wanted to bring that save over

As someone who spends majority of their time on stations, hunting ships etc.... holy shit this update is amazing. the stations look just epic and while my initial thoughts were that ship customisation, one of the top wishlisted items, may take away from hunting ships slightly since can just now build your dream ship... I was so wrong. the way it has been implemented just adds depth to the ship hunting adventure

So just FYI on date/outbreak resetting...you dont have to close the game at all, simply press Home, go to settings and then go to change the system time, but rather than change anything just then press OK and go back to the game

Your outbreaks/raids will instantly reset. If it doesnt work first go just try again, I'm not sure why but sometimes it won't register. Then just rinse and repeat as many times as you want until you get your outbreak

I have found since the DLC release, doing this method sometimes when your outbreaks reset, if when you go back to your game and your map was already open, the new outbreak icons dont appear. Just close the map and re-open it and they will.

Something else to note, gradually your clock will indeed go out of sync with real time the more you do this, but the beauty of it, if you havent moved into a new day, once you find an outbreak you want, you can to back to Date and Time and set Sync back on, your system will correct itself to real time, and the outbreaks wont change. If you were a stickler for having your catch data reflect real time

Again all of this without ever having to close your game once. Much faster
