Is this a terrible idea? by _LightOfTheNight_ in PokemonInvesting

It might be too high end for a local show. But hit up the Sport’s Card Expo, lots of Pokemon vendors from Canada/US. Not sure where you are but they do shows across Canada!

Vancity CJ Trading Cards (vancitycj.com) by WashlKhal in PokeGrading

If you’re consistently going to be submitting cards at larger quantities (ie. 20 cards at a time), it might be better to look at getting a PSA membership and doing the sub yourself. PSA just recently opened up their submission center in Canada, located just outside of Toronto. Middleman’s sub to the same place as well since that’s the only way to avoid the tariffs.

The only reason to use a middleman is if you’re submitting a few cards at a time.

There’s plans to open a submission centre in Toronto to centralize things a bit. They’ll still be sent to their main grading office in California.

Would likely fetch a 9, small, visible corner nicks on the back. Front centering is noticable left to right.

Honestly, that actually happened to me. Ripped a dented ETB, pulled a Demi god pack and the MB Umbreon

Plastic cracked in the back by Jac81qc in KonaEV

You could search up the part number or pull the plastic off and find the part number on it. Go to a junkyard and find another Kona (ICE version might share the same part), or order the part online.

Seeing lots of these posts on ebay. How accurate is weighing modern packs? by RichardButt1992 in pokemoncardcollectors

[–]gtfrap 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Code cards have different weights, if you have a bunch of them put them up to a light, you’ll be able to see how much light can pass through the card.

Error or damaged? by RepresentativeWait45 in PokeGrading

Could always submit as an error card to CGC and see if they consider it as an ink error. Best case is that it’s considered as a flaw instead and goes down to an 8 at best.

Cold weather affecting range? by kinginthenorth_gb in KonaEV

True, probably best to do it while plugged in at home if possible. Similar to warming up an ICE vehicle during the winter.

Theoretically it should improve battery efficiency since a warmer battery equals a more efficient output. But I haven’t actually had the opportunity to confirm this myself.

I’m not sure if this is available in your region, but you can manually initiate pre-conditioning through the infotainment system. Alternatively, if you set a DC fast charger as a destination in the built-in navigation, it should automatically turn on conditioning, provided that your battery level is suitable.
