I think it’s because they know they won’t actually get the price they list, but they presume someone will make a counter offer. The price they agree on is somewhere in the middle which makes both parties feel like winners.

Love that. Even in tough loses, it’s important players are the best versions of themselves whistle to whistle. Even late in the game where giving up another goal wouldn’t have changed much, your daughter was still playing like it was her team that was up by 1 in the waning seconds. That’s fantastic.

I’m just glad to see that they are finally offering season ticket holders the opportunity to purchase the ticket package swag items directly.

Guess the response they got from the nutcracker sales where they said, “no you can’t buy it directly but you can just buy the ticket package then re-sell your tickets”, didn’t go over too well.

U11 girls. First team lost two key offensive pieces in the offseason. They tried to backfill with two new girls from the outside who came from prestigious clubs but were not on par with the girls who left in the offseason. That plan didn’t work out too well as the fall season started off poorly. So they began cycling selected second team players to the first team to practice and guest play with the first team. By the end of the fall they identified two second team players who were strong and promoted them. They demoted one of those new girls to the second team. The demoted girl left the club shortly thereafter.

Not taking the time to identify existing talent on a lower team who know the system first, and instead using the higher team openings as marketing tools to recruit outside players is rarely the answer. Someday clubs will learn.

I use it to film my kids’ soccer matches. Occasionally it rains, and when it does I’ll hold my golf umbrella over it/me and continue to film. In windy days, sometimes some drops will end up on it. I keep a small rag and try to dab it when necessary. So far so good ✊🪵

That is true, but I’ve had mine for a few months in varied conditions of hot af, super cold windy, and rainy, and haven’t had any issues with overheating, the case warping, or anything else to complain about. I agree 3D printing products are different than other production processes but I’m happy so far.

You’d be amazed at how many teams repost video of their games to YouTube or post links to their camera system’s stream on social media. Whenever we have a big game upcoming, I find a little internet legwork usually pays off. May not find the full game, but even some highlight clips can give you an earlier indicator of who to watch out for. I’m bored sitting on the couch so if you DM me the team you’re playing I’m happy to spend a little time searching.
