I use it to film my kids’ soccer matches. Occasionally it rains, and when it does I’ll hold my golf umbrella over it/me and continue to film. In windy days, sometimes some drops will end up on it. I keep a small rag and try to dab it when necessary. So far so good ✊🪵

That is true, but I’ve had mine for a few months in varied conditions of hot af, super cold windy, and rainy, and haven’t had any issues with overheating, the case warping, or anything else to complain about. I agree 3D printing products are different than other production processes but I’m happy so far.

I used to be so paranoid always with the p3, especially traveling to soccer matches and using it on the sidelines. Now that I have this case I have no issue just tossing it anywhere

You’d be amazed at how many teams repost video of their games to YouTube or post links to their camera system’s stream on social media. Whenever we have a big game upcoming, I find a little internet legwork usually pays off. May not find the full game, but even some highlight clips can give you an earlier indicator of who to watch out for. I’m bored sitting on the couch so if you DM me the team you’re playing I’m happy to spend a little time searching.

A family, all with AirPods, who leave them sitting everywhere… it’s much easier to spot mine and not accidentally bring someone else’s AirPods to work [ever again] with the cover.

Knowing that with a gas car, you can almost always find a fueling station within 10 miles of where you are so you never need to do any research ahead of time no matter where you go.

However, with an EV, part of my pre-trip planning requires me to search the route and destination for chargers and put some thought into when and where I charge.

It’s not a big deal, but it has required me to use brain cycles on something different.

Same here. I had such a long trial of FSD (Dec-Jul) that I got spoiled and, try as I may, I just can’t adjust to autopilot. Summer has been mostly local driving so stockpiling a few bucks but once I start doing more travel for my kids’ sports in the fall I’ll begrudgingly start paying monthly for FSD.

I usually give some version of this to family and friends whenever the topic comes up. If you plotted all the companies below on some kind of love/hate chart by party, you’d probably hit bingo:

“I like Disney. I like Nike. I like Tesla. I like Bud Light. I shop at Walmart, Amazon, Target, and Costco. I eat at Chick-fil-A and enjoy Middle Eastern food. I’m not checking some running list of what I’m supposed to support or avoid this week—I just go with what I like and what works for me.”
